Will You be Making History?
It's hard to believe that this great little nation of ours is nearly 100 years old. Even harder to believe is that no pub has been allowed open on Good Friday for almost a century. But that's all about to change!

History will be made this coming Friday, when bands take to pub stages for the first time ever. As bars and live music go, at the VFI and GizaGig we think it's quite a monumental occassion. With that in mind, we want to recognise the first bar to host a live gig on a Good Friday and the performer(s).

How do You become a part of history?
Once you're an act playing, or a VFI bar hosting a gig on Good Friday, you're free to  participate. The gig must meet the following criteria:

It cannot start any earlier than 10.30am on Good Friday morning

A P.A. system must be used and an audience be in attendance

The first 15 minutes of the event must be video'd

Although there can be only one "1st", we'd love as many bars and bands to register as possible, so that there is an historical record of the bar music that takes place on Good Friday 2018. Simply complete the info and "Register". We'll follow up with an email confirming all of the details.
